Nanoka Hara and Ryuto Sakuma attend film premiere for ‘Naimononedari no Kimi ni Hikari no Hanataba’

Actors Nanoka Hara and Ryuto Sakuma (member of the group &ME) attended the completion preview for the film ‘Naimononedari no Kimi ni Hikari no Hanataba’ in Tokyo on October 20. The film, based on the novel by Natsume Shioomi, is scheduled for release on November 20.

The story follows a high school student named Kageko (played by Hara) who feels ordinary and lacks individuality, and Mahiru (played by Sakuma), a popular idol with a hidden, intense past. During the event, the cast exchanged bouquets of flowers to symbolize the themes of the story.

Sakuma discussed how playing an idol allowed him to reflect on the concepts of being “ordinary” versus “special,” noting that his role helped him re-examine his own identity. Hara emphasized the film’s message regarding self-worth, suggesting it serves as a warm reminder for viewers to focus on their own strengths rather than comparing themselves to others via social media.
