At the inauguration of the World Congress on Nanomedicine 2026 in New Delhi, Union Minister of State Dr. Jitendra Singh highlighted nanomedicine as a transformative force for the future of precision medicine and personalized healthcare.

Dr. Singh noted that nanotechnology allows for medical interventions at cellular and molecular levels, enabling therapies to be tailored to an individual’s genetic profile, lifestyle, and environmental factors. He suggested that these advancements could improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of healthcare delivery.

The congress, hosted by the Institute of Nano Medical Sciences at the University of Delhi, has gathered over 2,000 global participants, including researchers, industry experts, and students, to discuss emerging applications in the field.
