Nanto Bussan launches Shuri Castle themed salt caramel donuts

Nanto Bussan Co., Ltd., based in Naha, Okinawa, has released a new carry-handle version of its “Shuri Castle Salt Caramel Baked Donut.” The product, which features packaging depicting the historic Shuri Castle against a blue sky, was released on October 15, 2026.

The donuts are flavored with salt caramel using “Aoi Umi,” a local Okinawan sea salt. The product is priced at 500 yen (excluding tax) for a pack of three and is available at souvenir shops throughout Okinawa Prefecture.
