Nantou County Magistrate inspects infrastructure projects in Lugu and Zhushan

Nantou County Magistrate Hsu Shu-hua conducted field inspections in Lugu Township and Zhushan Township to oversee 19 grassroots infrastructure projects. The improvements, totaling approximately 21.61 million TWD, focus on roads, drainage systems, riverbank protection, and retaining walls.

In Lugu Township, five projects worth roughly 7.88 million TWD are being addressed, including repairs to riverbank collapses and slope stabilization. During the inspection, local residents requested additional slope protection in Ruitian Village, a suggestion the Magistrate agreed to consider once land consent forms are secured.

In Zhushan Township, 14 projects are planned to improve drainage and road safety. The County Government aims to enhance disaster prevention capabilities and facilitate easier transportation for local agricultural products through these essential infrastructure upgrades.
