Nao Matsushita to star in medical drama ‘Analog Nurse’

TV Asahi has released a special promotional video for the upcoming drama ‘Analog Nurse: What is Digital Anyway?!’, starring Nao Matsushita. The series is set to premiere on October 22.

Matsushita portrays Akari Nasuda, a freelance nurse who relies on her senses and intuition rather than AI or digital systems. The character previously appeared in a guest role in the seventh season of the popular series ‘Doctor X’. The new drama is part of a trilogy that connects the worlds of ‘Doctor X’, ‘The Travel Nurse’, and ‘Analog Nurse’.

The cast includes Kenjiro Tsuda as surgeon Daigoro Kanbe, Nanoka Hara as rookie nurse Mirai Wakamatsu, and Noriko Eguchi. The production features a collaboration between scriptwriter Miho Nakazono and the teams behind the existing medical drama franchise.
