Naomi Watanabe visits Taiwan to promote new comedy horror film

Japanese comedian Naomi Watanabe arrived in Taiwan to promote her new comedy horror film, ‘How is it possible my ancestor is your ghost’. Watanabe, who recently completed a North American tour, joined director Su Da and cast members Liu Yi-hao, Xiao Xun, and Sakinu for a press event.

Watanabe expressed her enthusiasm for the project, noting that the character ‘Juliet’ was specifically designed around her comedic persona. She highlighted the strong bond formed with the cast during filming in various Taiwanese locations, including Nanshan and Huanshan tribes, where the crew bonded through communal activities.

Co-star Liu Yi-hao praised Watanabe’s energy, while Watanabe described Liu as “perfect 100 points” regarding his appearance and temperament. The promotional tour includes special screenings and talk shows in Taipei, allowing fans to interact with the cast.
