Naousa hosts 18th International Art and Culture Gathering

The 18th International Art and Culture Gathering officially commenced on September 4, 2026, in Naousa, Greece. Organized by the International Union of Arts, the event runs from September 3 to September 8, 2026.

Featuring artists from Greece, Turkey, and Albania, the gathering operates under the central theme ‘A world of color, a world of love.’ The event is dedicated to promoting peace and friendship among nations, utilizing art as a universal language for communication and cooperation between different cultures.

The opening ceremony took place at the ‘Kamini’ hall of the ‘Christos Lanaras’ ERIA Cultural Complex, attended by Naousa Mayor Nikos Koutsogiannis and Deputy Mayor of Culture Tamaras Longinidou. During the event, Maria Loubourdi expressed gratitude to the municipality for its long-standing support of the International Union of Arts. Mayor Koutsogiannis emphasized that the municipality will continue to support such extroverted organizations that promote culture and build bridges between peoples.
