Naoya Fujinami Claims Fast Victory in Hamamatsu Auto‑Race Opening Day

Driver Naoya Fujinami (34) secured a convincing win in the opening race of the Hamamatsu Auto‑Race event, capitalising on a strong start and high‑speed riding. The qualifying track reached 61 °C, favouring early‑speed riders; Fujinami broke away from the field and pulled ahead after the third lap, maintaining his lead to the finish.

He attributed the performance to recent equipment changes, including a new camshaft and a reverted cylinder, which improved handling. Fujinami also noted that the first‑day tyres performed well, and he intends to keep the current setup for the remaining two‑day competition.
