Naoya Inoue pays tribute to Zolani Tete amid future fight discussions

Professional boxer Naoya Inoue has been involved in several recent developments within the boxing community. Following the tragic shooting death of former two-division world champion Zolani Tete in South Africa, Inoue posted a tribute on social media, calling Tete a “wonderful boxer” and expressing a wish for world peace.

In discussions regarding future matchups, former champion Daiki Kameda analyzed a potential bout between Inoue and WBA bantamweight champion Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez. Kameda suggested that while Rodriguez might compete well in the early stages due to the weight class overlap, Inoue’s strength would likely lead to a knockout in the later rounds.

Additionally, Ramon Cardenas, the WBA super bantamweight number two contender who previously scored a knockdown against Inoue, discussed the technique behind his successful left hook. Cardenas described the move as a practiced skill developed through specific gym training and feints, noting his desire for a rematch.
