NAPA releases new album 'Semitrópico' and announces European tour

The Madeiran band NAPA has released 'Semitrópico', their third studio album. The project serves as an ode to their home island of Madeira, exploring themes of identity, insularity, nostalgia, and the relationship with one's place of origin.

Produced by Lucas Nunes and André Santos, the 13-track album blends indie pop with Brazilian popular music and traditional Madeiran influences. The recording process spanned Lisbon, Madeira, and Brazil. The album features collaborations with Brazilian singer Júlia Mestre and Spanish singer Sílvia Pérez Cruz, as well as string arrangements by the Madeira Classical Orchestra.

This release follows the band's participation in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song 'Deslocado'. To support the new album, NAPA is embarking on a 12-date European tour starting November 8, which includes stops in Madrid, London, Zurich, and Paris.
