Napa to Sonoma Wine Country Half Marathon and Rosé 5K sells out, raising over $25 million for charity

The 22nd annual Napa to Sonoma Wine Country Half Marathon and Rosé 5K attracted more than 5,700 runners on July 25‑26, selling out a month before the event. The race, set amid Napa and Sonoma vineyards, partnered with The Michael J. Fox Foundation as its national featured charity, donating $100 from each additional registration to Parkinson’s research. Fundraisers from the foundation’s Team Fox aimed to raise $75,000.

Beyond the competition, participants enjoyed a post‑race wine festival featuring over 30 wineries and received commemorative tasting glasses. The event’s unique setting and festivities have earned accolades such as Runner’s World’s "best post‑race festival in America" and Forbes’ ranking among the nation’s most scenic half marathons. "This race is curated to provide a unique experience where participants get to celebrate their running accomplishments and also celebrate the incredible wine country community that hosts us every year," said race manager Crystian Kumnick.
