Formula Systems reports strong Q2 growth amid sector shifts

Formula Systems (1985) Ltd. reported strong Q2 2026 financial results, with revenue reaching $782.4 million, a 29.8% year-over-year increase. The Israeli IT services firm posted a net income of $51.6 million and diluted earnings per share of $1.47. Performance was driven largely by its flagship subsidiary, Matrix IT Ltd., which generated $718.3 million in revenue.

In the transportation sector, ArcBest Corporation saw its stock price drop 6.1% to $131.80 during a broad industry selloff. The decline coincided with similar losses among several trucking peers, suggesting macroeconomic concerns regarding freight demand and pricing pressure rather than company-specific issues.

Regarding institutional activity, Primecap Management Co. CA established a significant new position in Norfolk Southern Corporation, purchasing 1,032,910 shares valued at approximately $324.9 million during the second quarter.
