Naperville community survey shows high satisfaction in safety and economy

A recent community survey conducted by the firm Polco shows that Naperville residents report high satisfaction levels regarding public safety, the local economy, and parks and recreation. The findings, presented to the city council on August 18, indicate that residents view the city as an excellent place to live and raise children.

When compared to similar municipalities across the United States, Naperville performed strongly. According to Polco CEO Nick Mastronardi, residents rated 103 out of 123 items higher than comparable communities, with the remaining 20 items being rated similarly. No items were rated lower than the benchmark cities.

Despite the positive feedback, the survey identified specific areas for improvement, including affordability and mobility. While mobility services received high ratings, the ease of travel varied depending on the mode of transportation used.
