Naples accountants partner with Port Authority for maritime concessions

The Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Naples has entered the operational phase of a memorandum of understanding with the Central Tyrrhenian Sea Port System Authority. The agreement aims to specialize professionals in the maritime economy and manage tasks related to maritime state property concessions.

As part of the initiative, a series of seminars will provide training for professionals tasked with conducting expert appraisals for indemnities, as mandated by Decree Law 131/2024. The curriculum covers technical methodologies for determining compensation, drafting certified appraisals, ensuring independence, and managing professional liability. This collaboration involves the ports of Naples, Salerno, and Castellammare di Stabia.
