Naples Airport unveils 250 million euro development Masterplan

The Masterplan for Naples Airport has been presented, outlining a strategic development roadmap through 2035. The plan involves total investments exceeding 250 million euros, with 230 million euros sourced from private resources.

Key infrastructure projects include a new 15,000 square meter terminal for extra-Schengen flights, new aircraft parking stands, a cargo-logistics area, an airport hotel, and improvements to access roads. Additionally, over 13 million euros are allocated for environmental sustainability initiatives.

The strategic goal is to achieve sustainable traffic growth of up to 17.3 million passengers annually by 2035 without increasing current hourly capacity. This will be managed through the use of higher-capacity aircraft, improved load factors, and more efficient flight scheduling.
