Naples court sentences two men to five years for shooting Gianluca Pisacane

Two men, Vincenzo Rossi and Vincenzo Bevivino, have each been sentenced to five years in prison for the shooting of Gianluca Pisacane in Naples' Quartieri Spagnoli district. The sentence was handed down by judge Nicoletta Campanaro following a summary trial.

The incident occurred on January 3, 2026, near the Pisadog Spritz, a business managed by Pisacane. According to investigators, the violence stemmed from a dispute involving female customers and an employee. After Pisacane intervened to defend the worker, the situation escalated when relatives of the women returned to the location. As Pisacane and his father, Andrea, exited the premises, gunfire was exchanged, resulting in Gianluca Pisacane being struck by two bullets in his right leg.

While the prosecution initially pursued charges of attempted murder, the legal classification was downgraded to aggravated injury during the judicial process.
