Naples hosts literary presentations for new noir and crime novels

Naples will host two upcoming book presentations for new crime and noir fiction.

On October 22, 2026, Salvatore Basile will present ‘Il camaleonte’ at the Feltrinelli bookstore. The novel follows Ambra Cortese, a former undercover officer returning to Isola Sacra, where she must navigate personal trauma and investigate a suspicious suicide and a brutal murder while working as a regular police officer.

On October 31, 2026, Fabio Simiani will present ‘Le ombre non dimenticano’ at the Libreria Raffaello. Set against a Neapolitan backdrop, the story involves the investigation of a nightclub manager's murder, a missing dancer, and potential links to a criminal clan led by a fugitive boss.
