Naples hosts major music and cultural festivals in September 2026

Naples is hosting several major cultural music events as part of its 2026 programming.

The XXIV edition of ‘La Notte della Tammorra’ will take place on September 11 and 12 at Piazza Mercato. Directed by Carlo Faiello, this festival of folk music and culture in Campania will feature a special tribute to Roberto De Simone. The event is part of the ‘Napoli Città della Musica’ initiative funded by the Municipality of Naples.

Additionally, the VII edition of the Unimusic 2026 festival, organized by the Nuova Orchestra Scarlatti in partnership with the University of Naples Federico II, begins on September 5 and 6. Inaugural performances at the Cortile delle Statue include a symphonic concert by the Orchestra Scarlatti Junior featuring works by Beethoven and Verdi, followed by a music and dance performance of Vivaldi’s ‘Four Seasons’ by the Orchestra Scarlatti Young.
