Naples hosts major technology and startup innovation events

Naples has established itself as a significant hub for technology and entrepreneurship through two major initiatives. The sixth edition of Napoli DevFest, themed ‘Futuro Liquido’, drew over 1,000 participants to Città della Scienza. Organized by GDG Napoli with support from Google for Developers, the event brought together developers, students, and investors. During the event, Quantum2pi won the Startup Competition after presenting before a jury of industry experts.

Additionally, the city is preparing for the fourth edition of ‘Naples Calls for Ideas’, scheduled for November 14, 2026, at the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II. Promoted by 081 Stand for Naples, this initiative aims to transform innovative projects into concrete development opportunities by connecting emerging startups with investors and professionals. The competition will feature a jury of fifteen experts from sectors including strategic consulting, investment, and innovation.
