Naples hosts third edition of Danza in Prima at Maschio Angioino

The third edition of ‘Danza in Prima’ took place in the courtyard of the Maschio Angioino in Naples, featuring nearly 300 dancers from 15 different schools. The event showcased a variety of styles, including classical, modern, hip hop, Bollywood, and western themes.

Organized by Municipalità 1 with financial support from the Naples Tourism Department, the initiative aims to promote local artistic talent and provide young people with opportunities for creative expression. Mayor Gaetano Manfredi attended the event, noting that dance serves as a vital training ground for youth by teaching discipline, rigor, and respect.

The festival, which featured artistic direction by Stefano Angelini and general organization by Marco Panico, transformed the historic Castel Nuovo into an open-air stage, attracting significant interest from tourists.
