Naples launches noir-themed mystery walking tours

The city of Naples has launched the fifth edition of the “Vedi Napoli d’estate e poi torni” event series, a collection of free tours inspired by the mystery and noir literary traditions. Promoted by the Municipality of Naples' Department of Tourism and Productive Activities, the program features ten scheduled appointments held every weekend from September 5 to October 4.

Under the artistic direction of Ciro Sabatino, the initiative offers five thematic routes designed to explore the city’s enigmatic atmosphere. The tours include Mediterranean noir in Piazzetta Salazar, historical mysteries in Capodimonte, crime and maritime secrets in Posillipo, espionage and World War II history in Piazza Mercato, and sentimental mysteries in Vomero, influenced by the narratives of Maurizio de Giovanni.
