Naples Municipality addresses Agnano and Ponticelli kennel situation

The Naples Municipality has announced the activation of an internal committee to manage the situation regarding the kennels in Agnano and Ponticelli. This follows notifications of measures that serve as a notice of clearance rather than an eviction request.

The objective of the committee is to allow facility managers to clarify their positions within a formal administrative proceeding. The Department of Heritage has scheduled a meeting for next week involving all relevant offices to establish a detailed overview of the situation.

To ensure the continued care and custody of the animals, the Municipality is utilizing the ‘La Collina di Argo’ facility and has established a framework agreement with several accredited private kennels in the area. Additionally, the administration is working with local associations and the Animal Rights Guarantor to promote animal adoptions and find suitable solutions for the welfare of the dogs involved.
