Naples prosecutors seek testimony in Ischia abuse investigation
The Naples Public Prosecutor's Office has requested an evidentiary hearing to immediately interview a young man from Ischia regarding an alleged sequence of violence, humiliation, and abuse. The incident is reported to have occurred during the night between December 17 and 18, 2025, involving three peers.
Deputy Prosecutor Daniela Pannone filed the request with the Naples Court to ensure the victim's testimony is recorded through protected methods before a potential trial. The investigation involves three suspects: L. D. O. (born 2006) and A. B. (born 2007), currently held in the Ariano Irpino prison, and G. V. (born 2007), held in the Benevento prison.
The victim, represented by attorney Raffaele Bernardo, has been recognized with a 50 percent disability rating. The case follows investigations by the Ischia police commissariat that led to precautionary measures against the three suspects.
