Naples stages star‑watching at Palazzo Reale and sold‑out Geolier concerts
On Saturday 27 June 2026 the Royal Palace of Naples opened its Belvedere for an evening of public stargazing titled “Seconda stella a destra”. The event, organized with the Capodimonte Astronomical Observatory, ran from 20:00 to midnight, offered reduced tickets (€5 regular, €2 reduced) and required group reservations for parties of more than ten.
The night followed a series of sold‑out concerts by local rapper Geolier at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. The first show on 26 June featured a guest appearance by U.S. hip‑hop star 50 Cent, and the three‑date run sold out in advance, highlighting the growing popularity of Naples‑born rap.
In addition, the city’s cultural programme included the contemporary‑dance piece L.A.V.A. at the Teatro Grande in the archaeological park of Pompeii, part of the international Pompeii Theatrum Mundi festival.
