Naples to host conference on gender-based workplace safety

A conference titled ‘Gender Safety: From Gender Medicine to Gender Safety’ is scheduled to take place in Naples on Tuesday, September 22. The event aims to integrate the approaches used in gender medicine into workplace safety and prevention.

Organized by the Italian Association for Prevention and Protection (A.I.P.&P.) in collaboration with the Campania regional directorate of INAIL and the Naples Building Constructors Association (ACEN), the meeting will focus on the necessity of assessing professional risks through the lens of gender differences. This approach aligns with criteria already mentioned in the Italian Consolidated Law on Safety (D. Lgs. 81/2008).

The event will feature contributions from various institutional leaders, including representatives from the Naples Industrial Union, the Campania Region Health and Social Security Commission, and the Naples Labor Inspectorate.
