Naples to host industry summit on satellite television future

An industry meeting is scheduled for October 29 at the Starhotels Terminus in Naples to discuss the future and development of the satellite television sector. The event aims to address how satellite distribution provides strategic coverage across Italy, reaching difficult terrains such as mountainous regions and small islands.

Participants will include key stakeholders from the supply chain, including Eutelsat, which manages the satellite fleet used by Italian broadcasters, and Rai. The summit will also involve Confindustria Napoli and local installers to discuss infrastructure, content transmission, and technical reception for households.

The discussion will highlight technological advancements, such as the tivùsat free satellite platform, which offers 4K content and international channels to enhance high-definition viewing experiences without requiring a subscription.
