Napoli adds youth left‑back and eyes Argentine goalkeeper Musso

SSC Napoli announced the signing of Edmond Modugno, a 2013‑born left‑back, to its Under‑14 squad. The player leaves the local club Blue Devils Napoli and joins the professional side after receiving several offers. Napoli youth director Gianluca Grava confirmed the deal, noting Modugno’s potential and his football‑family background.

In the senior transfer market, Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna has identified Argentine goalkeeper Juan Musso of Atletico Madrid as the primary target for the next season. Musso’s move is linked to the forthcoming sale of Serbian midfielder Vanja Milinkovic‑Savic, which would provide the funds needed for the purchase. Current first‑choice keeper Alex Meret is expected to remain the Serie A starter, while Musso could be used in European competitions.

Both moves aim to strengthen Napoli’s squad depth across the youth and senior levels.
