Napoli advances transfer moves following Lukaku departure

Napoli is actively reshaping its squad following the departure of Romelu Lukaku. An agreement has been reached for Lukaku to join Fenerbahçe for a fee of 6 million euros plus 2 million in bonuses, which could increase by another 1 million depending on league performance. This move is expected to significantly reduce the club's wage bill by approximately 11 million euros gross.

To bolster the defense, Napoli is finalizing the signing of Costantino Favasuli from Catanzaro on a loan deal worth 1 million euros with an obligation to purchase for 6 million euros. Favasuli is expected to sign a contract through 2031. Additionally, Benoit Badiashile is nearing a deal with the club.

Amidst these transfers, Napoli manager Massimiliano Allegri celebrated his 59th birthday during the team's training camp in Castel di Sangro. While the team celebrates, Allegri continues to seek defensive reinforcements to complete the squad's construction.
