Napoli and Barcelona compete for Tottenham midfielder Lucas Bergvall

Napoli and Barcelona have both expressed interest in Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Lucas Bergvall. The Swedish international, born in 2006, has emerged as a target for Napoli as the Serie A club considers a midfield overhaul due to uncertainty surrounding players like Stanislav Lobotka and Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa.

While Barcelona has previously been linked to the player, Napoli is reportedly monitoring his progress as a potential long-term investment. Despite the interest from major European clubs, Tottenham views Bergvall as a key part of their future following his recent contract renewal. However, the midfielder's limited playing time in the Premier League, having started only twice in league matches this season, may influence his future decisions regarding playing time and development.
