Napoli and Cagliari vie for Italy U21 right‑back Costantino Favasuli

Napoli and Serie A side Cagliari are competing to sign 22‑year‑old Costantino Favasuli from Catanzaro. The right‑back, who has been capped by Italy’s senior team, delivered a standout Serie B campaign with Catanzaro, registering two goals and several assists across more than 40 matches.

Favasuli is under contract with Catanzaro until June 2029; his former club Fiorentina retained a 50 % sell‑on clause. Napoli view him as a key addition to their policy of acquiring young Italian talent, while Cagliari also see him as a valuable reinforcement for their flanks.
