Antonio Raimondo sidelined by Achilles tendon injury

Frosinone striker Antonio Raimondo has been diagnosed with an insertional tendinopathy of the right Achilles tendon. The injury occurred during his call-up to the Italy Under-21 national team, forcing him to leave the training camp ahead of scheduled matches against Armenia and Poland.

While the club has not yet released an official timeline for his recovery, the injury likely sidelines the 2004-born attacker for upcoming fixtures, including a high-profile match against Napoli. Raimondo has had a strong start to the season, scoring four goals in his first five appearances.

The injury may provide an opportunity for Slovakian center-forward Tomas Bobcek to enter the starting lineup. Bobcek, who joined Frosinone in the summer, has seen limited playing time, totaling only 19 minutes this season, but is expected to be a primary alternative in the absence of Raimondo.
