Napoli and Lazio weigh player deals as transfer window heats up

Journalist Raffaele Mignano said Napoli’s €30 million purchase of forward Andreas Hojlund was expensive but worthwhile, noting the striker could still deliver and that a new coach, potentially Massimiliano Allegri, may boost his performance. He also mentioned upcoming changes in the Italian Football Federation and the importance of youth selections.

In a separate interview, journalist Giulio Cardone outlined Lazio’s transfer situation: goalkeeper Mattia Provedel is likely to leave for Bologna for around €4‑5 million, while defender Mattia Romagnoli is set to exit after a 30‑million‑euro request for defender Gila goes unmet. Cardone noted interest from other clubs, including Napoli, but no concrete offers have materialised yet.
