Napoli launches Dimaro pre‑season camp under Massimiliano Allegri
SSC Napoli began its 2024/25 pre‑season on 17 July 2026 in the Val di Sole resort of Dimaro‑Folgarida, Italy. The squad arrived at the Sport Hotel Rosatti and was welcomed by club board member Valentina De Laurentiis, who cut the ribbon of a newly installed trophy‑exhibit area for fans. About 200 supporters attended the opening and online ticketing was offered for future training‑session visits.
Head coach Massimiliano Allegri introduced a training philosophy centred on ball work and technical drills, moving away from heavy physical routines. Early sessions featured a 4‑3‑3 tactical setup, integration of five Primavera players and a focus on quick decision‑making. The camp also serves as preparation for upcoming friendly matches.
The camp has already faced medical setbacks. Defender Alessandro Buongiorno is awaiting a specialist opinion on a possible knee‑surgery, while midfielder Matteo Politano suffered a hip contusion, forward Antonio Vergara reported flu‑like symptoms, and striker Lorenzo Lucca sustained a foot trauma. All three were absent from the third‑day session, with the medical staff monitoring their recovery.
