Napoli celebrates heritage with new football history book and classic song concert

A new 256‑page volume titled *Indimenticabili – Il centenario del Napoli* by journalist Gianfranco Coppola was presented at IGB Broker’s headquarters in Naples. The book chronicles the club’s lesser‑known international friendlies from 1926 to the present, featuring stories from former players, officials and sports journalists. Proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Casa di Tonia charity of the Fondazione In Nome della Vita Onlus.

In the nearby town of Torre Annunzio, the cultural association Nike hosted the evening event “Da una Napoli all'altra” at the Pasquale Fusco venue. Guitarist Espedito De Marino and the group Le voci del Vesuvio performed classic Neapolitan songs, aiming to preserve and promote the city’s musical heritage while fostering community interaction.

Both events underscore a broader effort to keep Naples’ sporting and musical traditions alive through public programming and charitable support.
