Napoli considers move for Fiorentina defender Dodô

Napoli is reportedly considering a move for Fiorentina's Brazilian full-back Dodô during the upcoming January transfer window. While no concrete negotiations are currently underway, the club is evaluating the player as a potential option to bolster their defensive depth on the right flank.

Dodô is under contract with Fiorentina until June 30, 2027. Because a contract renewal appears complicated, Fiorentina may face pressure to sell the player in January to avoid the risk of losing him for free in the future. Fiorentina has previously valued the player at approximately 15 million euros, a figure that may become more negotiable as his contract progresses.

From an economic standpoint, Dodô's current salary of roughly 2 million euros net per season is considered compatible with Napoli's wage structure. The Brazilian defender is viewed as a player who could provide different tactical characteristics, specifically regarding offensive support, compared to existing options like Giovanni Di Lorenzo.
