Napoli Basket defeats Budućnost Voli 93-75 in EuroCup
Napoli Basket secured its second consecutive EuroCup victory with a dominant 93-75 win against Budućnost Voli in Podgorica. Led by coach Jasmin Repeša, the Italian side took control early, building a significant lead by halftime and maintaining their momentum throughout the match.
Zachary Seljaas led the scoring for Napoli with 23 points, supported by strong performances from Justin White (17 points), Jeff Dowtin (12 points), and John Petrucelli (11 points). Napoli’s efficiency was highlighted by their perimeter shooting and rebounding control.
Budućnost Voli struggled to find defensive answers, suffering their first defeat of the season. Yogi Ferrell was the standout performer for the home team with 19 points. Following the match, Budućnost coach Andrej Žakelj expressed dissatisfaction with the team’s lack of defensive intensity and character, noting that the squad must address these issues before their upcoming ABA League derby against Crvena zvezda.
