Napoli and Boca Juniors negotiate Exequiel Zeballos transfer

Napoli and Boca Juniors are engaged in negotiations regarding the transfer of winger Exequiel Zeballos. Recent meetings at Castel Volturno between Napoli's sporting director Giovanni Manna and Zeballos's representatives, including agent Diego Merino and intermediary Massimo La Porta, aimed to assess the feasibility of a deal.

Zeballos, whose contract with Boca Juniors expires in December, has reportedly rejected a renewal and is currently out of the squad. While Napoli remains interested, the transfer may be delayed until January 2027 if the Italian club cannot secure immediate space in their roster.

Boca Juniors is seeking a transfer fee close to the player's market value to avoid losing him as a free agent. Although Napoli and the player have reportedly reached an agreement on a five-year contract, the clubs have yet to reach a consensus on financial terms. Other clubs, including Parma and Celta Vigo, have also shown interest in the 24-year-old.
