Napoli target Juventus defender Federico Gatti, €25 million price tag

Napoli, now coached by Massimiliano Allegri, are reportedly interested in signing Juventus centre‑back Federico Gatti. Juventus have set an asking price of at least €25 million, with some reports citing a minimum of €20 million. The move comes as Napoli embark on a squad‑reduction policy, aiming to off‑load around 25 players before pursuing new signings.

Allegri, who previously worked with Gatti at Juventus, has voiced confidence in the defender’s abilities. Former Italy defender Fulvio Collovati said Gatti needs to improve his marking but added that he would “trust Allegri blindly” if the coach wants him. Negotiations may also involve a condition linked to midfielder Vladimír Lobotka, according to Italian sports media.
