Napoli eyes €10 million sale of striker Romelu Lukaku

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentis has indicated the club is willing to listen to offers for striker Romelu Lukaku, with a price around €10 million—significantly lower than the €30 million paid two years ago. Lukaku’s season was hampered by injuries, limiting him to a single league appearance in which he scored against Verona, prompting the club to consider offloading his heavy wage.

Club insiders expect a total of four to five transfer moves in the upcoming window. Potential departures include De Bruyne, who may head to MLS, and a possible sale of Lukaku to free up funds for new signings. There are also rumors of offers for defender Alessandro Lang following a strong World Cup showing, and interest in other targets such as a replacement for Di Lorenzo and midfield options. The overall strategy is to reduce the payroll and refresh the squad ahead of the new season.
