Napoli football analysts discuss team performance and Allegri's tactics

Following a recent match against Roma, analysts Pasquale Casale and Carlo Caporale have shared insights regarding Napoli's current form and the tactical direction under manager Massimiliano Allegri.

Casale noted that while Napoli has regained offensive momentum through players like Anguissa and McTominay, the team continues to struggle with defensive concentration and physical tension during decisive moments. He specifically highlighted defensive instability as a primary concern despite an improved attacking approach.

Caporale observed a broader trend in European football toward aggressive, high-scoring play, noting that Napoli performs better when attacking. He also addressed Allegri's coaching philosophy, suggesting that the manager's recent tendency toward defensive speculation may conflict with the team's needs. Caporale further noted that Allegri was a specific target for President Aurelio De Laurentiis following the conclusion of his tenure at Milan.
