Napoli hires Allegri, De Laurentiis takes responsibility, pundit ranks Serie A

Italian football journalist Riccardo Trevisani outlined his Serie A outlook less than 50 days before the transfer window closes. He placed Inter at the top of the table and Napoli second, noting that "the two best squads for many years are Napoli and Inter, which I rank second and first". Trevisani highlighted Napoli’s new coach Massimiliano Allegri, saying the appointment was "discussable after the flop at Milan" and that club owner Aurelio De Laurentiis "takes responsibility" for the move.

He also listed other clubs: Fiorentina at eighth, Atalanta seventh, Juventus sixth, Milan fifth after signing Ramos and Gila, and a surprise third‑place slot for Como ahead of Roma in fourth. The pundit cautioned that many variables could still shift before the market closes.
