Italian club SSC Napoli announced former AC Milan and Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri as the successor to Antonio Conte. Allegri, 58, takes over after Conte led Napoli to a Serie A title in the 2024/25 season and a second‑place finish the year before, 11 points behind champions Inter. Belgian internationals Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku remain under contract with Napoli until mid‑2027. Lukaku, whose deal pays €8 million a year, is expected to leave; Napoli hopes to receive around €10 million for his transfer. Turkish Süper Lig sides Fenerbahçe and Besiktas have shown interest, with possible teammate Leandro Trossard also linked to a move.

The managerial change and Lukaku’s potential departure mark a significant shift for Napoli as they prepare for the upcoming Serie A campaign.
