Napoli locks in midfielder Scott McTominay with contract through 2030

Napoli have agreed to extend Scottish midfielder Scott McTominay's contract until 2030, with a salary comparable to the club's star players (around €5 million). Club executives, including owner Aurelio De Laurentiis and manager Massimiliano Allegri, emphasized that the deal will not be altered.

McTominay later reflected on his time in Italy, thanking former coach Antonio Conte for moving him to his natural mezzala position. He said the role allowed him to contribute both offensively and defensively and expressed a desire to help Napoli repeat its recent Serie A success.
