Napoli manages internal tensions involving Kevin De Bruyne

Napoli has decided not to issue disciplinary sanctions against Kevin De Bruyne and Lorenzo Lucca following an argument during a Champions League match against Porto. The club aims to avoid escalating tensions within a squad currently facing poor results and internal divisions.

Despite the lack of formal fines, reports suggest the locker room remains strained, with the incident between De Bruyne and Lucca being viewed as a symptom of deeper underlying issues among the players. Massimiliano Allegri faces the challenge of reuniting a fractured group as the team struggles to maintain competitive standards.

Regarding his future, reports indicate that Napoli does not intend to sell De Bruyne in the January transfer window unless forced by extraordinary circumstances. The Belgian midfielder, who earns nearly 13 million euros gross, has a contract expiring on June 30. While rumors of interest from MLS, Saudi Arabia, and Juventus have circulated, De Bruyne has previously stated he has not considered leaving the club.
