Napoli moves to lock in McTominay as Real Madrid and PSG show interest

Napoli is accelerating negotiations to extend the contract of Scottish midfielder Scott McTominay, whom the club sees as a key player after his strong season. Reports say Real Madrid – whose new coach José Mourinho reportedly favours the midfielder – and Paris Saint‑Germain are monitoring the situation, prompting Napoli to act quickly to prevent costly offers.

At the same time, Italy’s other top clubs are intensifying their summer transfer activity. Inter Milan is pursuing Argentine talent Nico Paz after Real Madrid exercised a buy‑back clause, while also eyeing other targets. AC Milan is targeting PSG striker Gonçalo Ramos, and Juventus is linked with several players, including Frank Kessié, defender Jhon Lucumí and forward Kolo Muani. The Italian market is described as entering its most active phase, with clubs vying to strengthen squads ahead of the new season.
