Napoli moves toward private stadium and hires Allegri as manager
Club president Aurelio De Laurentiis outlined an ambitious plan to give SSC Napoli a privately owned stadium and a state‑of‑the‑art training centre. The project aims to boost revenue, improve fan experience and enhance youth development, while also calling for reforms to make Italian football financially sustainable.
At the same time, De Laurentiis is set to complete the appointment of former Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri on a three‑year contract, following Antonio Conte’s exit. Allegri’s experience is expected to provide continuity and keep Napoli competitive in Serie A and European competitions.
