Napoli on the Road named world's best pizzeria in 2026 rankings

The 50 Top Pizza World 2026 rankings have been announced in Naples, Italy, naming London-based Napoli on the Road, led by Michele Pascarella, as the world’s best pizzeria. This marks a shift in the global culinary landscape, as the top spot moved from New York to London.

The top five rankings are: Napoli on the Road (London) in first place, Una Pizza Napoletana (New York) in second, Confine (Milan) in third, and a tie between I Masanielli (Caserta) and Seu Pizza Illuminati (Rome) in fourth. Pizzeria Sei (Los Angeles) and Tony’s Pizza Napoletana (San Francisco) tied for fifth.

Brazil showed significant presence in the top 100, with Leggera Pizza Napoletana in São Paulo securing sixth place and being named the best in Latin America. Other Brazilian entries include QT Pizza Bar (17th), A Pizza da Mooca (41st), Unica Pizzeria (46th), Bento Pizzeria (70th), and Veridiana Pizzeria (75th). Japan also placed two establishments in the top ten, with RistoPizza by Napoli sta ca (7th) and The Pizza Bar on 38th (9th) both located in Tokyo.
