Napoli hosts Bodø/Glimt in Champions League amid club crisis

Napoli prepares to host Norwegian side Bodø/Glimt in a Champions League league phase match on Tuesday, October 20, at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. The match comes at a critical time for Napoli, who are currently experiencing a period of crisis under manager Max Allegri following five losses in their last nine matches, including a recent 0-1 defeat to Venezia.

Bodø/Glimt enters the fixture in strong form, having recently secured a 2-0 victory against HamKam in the Eliteserien and a 1-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League. Consequently, the Norwegian club has issued a security advisory to its traveling supporters, recommending they avoid wearing club merchandise in public areas of Naples to ensure their safety.

Ticket sales for the match have seen varied demand; while some upper tier sections are nearing capacity, significant availability remains in other stadium sectors. The match is scheduled for 21:00 local time and will be broadcast via Sky Sport.
