Napoli president De Laurentiis backs Noa Lang as Allegri's marquee signing
Napoli chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis has identified Dutch winger Noa Lang as the centerpiece of the club’s offensive rebuild under new coach Massimiliano Allegri. After loan spells, including a recent stint at Galatasaray, Lang returns to Napoli and is described by De Laurentiis as his "pupillo" and the "big bet" for Allegri’s new cycle. The signing is aimed at filling the void left by the departures of Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, whose sales generated record revenue but whose replacements failed to meet expectations. De Laurentiis expects Lang to help Napoli compete on all fronts – Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the Champions League – and has also hinted at further additions such as Rafa Marin.
The move reflects a cautious transfer strategy intended to balance sporting ambition with financial stability, as the club seeks to curb a growing deficit while restoring its standing among Europe’s elite clubs.
