Napoli pushes for loan of Eljif Elmas as Juventus and Aston Villa watch

Macedonian midfielder Eljif Elmas, who is under contract with RB Leipzig until 2028, has attracted renewed interest from Serie A clubs. Napoli is evaluating a third loan move for the player after previous spells at Torino and a season‑long loan at Napoli itself. The club previously let a €17 million buy‑out clause lapse and now aims to secure a loan on more favourable terms.

Juventus, led by former Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti, is also monitoring the situation, while Premier League side Aston Villa has been reported to keep tabs on the midfielder. Elmas has featured sparingly for Leipzig this season, prompting the German club to consider moving him elsewhere.

If a deal is reached, Elmas could return to Serie A, providing Napoli with additional midfield depth and potentially reshaping his career trajectory.
